RAWALPINDI: A young patient, diagnosed with Congo virus, died Tuesday in a local hospital here after having remained admitted therein for four days.
Sources said that the victim, Shahzad 35, was the resident of Gujarat and was shifted to Rawalpindi on August 19.
He was under treatment in Fouji Foundation Hospital, Gujarat where he was diagnosed with Congo virus.
The body has been handed over to his relatives after medico legal formalities.
It is worth mentioning here that there are almost 10 patients under treatment in different hospitals of Rawalpindi who have been diagnosed with Congo fever.
