KARACHI: Social networking website, Twitter has released a special emoji for Pakistan's Independence Day.
This is the first time ever that the social media giant has enabled a customised emoji for Pakistan's Independence Day.
Emoji is a small digital icon or symbol which is released on special occasions and through which happiness or passionate feelings can be expressed. Emojis are used to demonstrate emotions on social media and chatting. For instance, emojis are used to depict laughter, a smile or other sentiments being felt by the user.
The emoji which Twitter has released for Pakistan’s Independence Day — with a green crescent, star and the Minar-e-Pakistan — is meant to highlight the importance of that particular day.
