Kareena Kapoor Khan took a trip down the memory lane and made a shocking statement about the intruder incident at her home.
The Crew actress, who shares two children, Taimur and Jeh, with her husband Saif Ali Khan, recently offered new details about the terrifying night in a recent statement.
According to a report, the 44-year-old actress shared that she had met Rhea Kapoor on January 15 and returned home late that evening.
Additionally, the Heroine star said that one of the staff members approached the Kurbaan duo and informed them that someone has been spotted in Jeh’s room.
The couple rushed to check on their child. Kareena recalled, “I shouted to Eliyama to rescue Jeh Baba and take him out of the room. Together, we rushed to the 12th floor with Jeh Baba. Saif also followed us there, severely injured and bleeding.”
Reflecting on the severity of Saif’s injuries, the Jab We Met actress added, “I told the staff, leave all this; let’s go down first. Let’s go to the hospital”.
Taimur, 8, insisted on going with his father to the hospital, along with a house help.
This statement comes after the Baazaar actor was stabbed during the incident and admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in January.
Meanwhile, the police have filed a chargesheet against the accused attacker.
For the unversed, the 54-year-old star has now recovered and is all set for the release of his upcoming Netflix film, Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins.
