Kanye West and Jay-Z, music moguls who were earlier embroiled in a highly publicised feud for a long period, recently settled down the long-running fight between them.
On Thursday morning, West, - who goes by Ye now, reached out to Jay-Z with a sincere apology, saying, “I’m sorry Jay Z” in a tweet.
He also gets real about feeling betrayed in the music world and how he's faced so much hatred from people.
“I be feeling bad about my tweet but I still feel I gave my life to this industry and thought so many people were my family but when I needed family on some real shit none of these rap n***as had my back,” West added.
Although the rapper's apology appeared to be for at Jay-Z, the exact tweet in question is still unclear.
Many people on X (former Twitter) speculated that West's apology could be linked to comments he made back in March when he stirred controversy on X by making remarks about Jay-Z and his wife Beyoncé’s children.
Kim Kardashian's ex-husband stirred up controversy by using the R-word while questioning how the public saw Jay and Beyoncé’s seven-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir. He later deleted the posts, claiming it was just to avoid getting banned, not because he felt guilty.
However, Even with Kanye's apology to Jay-Z, the rapper did not apologise to the Carter family for his earlier comments.
