Queen Camilla offered some interesting insights in to her relationship with King Charles, reflecting on the unique dynamic that keeps their bond strong.
It is worth mentioning that the couple have marked their 20th wedding anniversary on Wednesday.
While Camilla is on the royal tour she candidly acknowledged the time she often spends apart from King Charles due to their demanding roles as she was speaking to the UK media.
'We are like ships passing in the night sometimes,' she said, describing their busy schedules and frequent separations.
Despite this, she reiterated the foundation of their enduring bond. 'What's the secret? I am not sure there is one. But I think it's really about being friends-sharing a sense of humour,' she explained with a smile.
Their royal responsibilities do not allow them to meet frequently.
While King Charles often retreats to Highgrove House, Camilla prefers her home in Wiltshire, reflecting their independent routines.
