Meghan Markle wants to make sure she doesn't miss the little moments with her daughter, Princess Lilibet.
In the debut episode of her new podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, Meghan gave listeners a rare glimpse into her daily life with her three-year-old with Prince Harry.
Sitting down with Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd, the Duchess of Sussex revealed that her daughter still naps and only does half days at preschool — a routine she fully embraces.
“If she (Lilibet) wakes up and wants to find me, she knows where to find me, even if my door is closed to the office,” Meghan said.
“She’ll be sitting there on my lap during one of these meetings with a grid of all the executives… I wouldn’t have it any other way," she added.
The mom-of-two also reflected on how much she values the flexibility of working from home. From her Montecito mansion, the former Suits actress is managing her latest lifestyle brand, As Ever, while still being fully present for her children.
“I don't want to miss those moments,” she said. “I don't want to miss pickup if I don’t have to. I don't want to miss drop-off.”
Meghan added, “Technology is a beautiful tool for parents… Like, why do I need to be at a desk? I have the same mental opinion in a carpool line.”
