Indian comedian and actor Vir Das has opened about his life journey in upcoming memoir, The Outsider.
The 45-year-old revealed the cover of his first ever book and even shared insights about the manuscript.
Taking it to Instagram, Vir shared that the write up is especially for wanderers looking to belong. He even mentioned that the book is up for pre-order.
"I WROTE A BOOK! You can pre-order #TheOUTSIDER now! It’s a crazy story about stumbling into different worlds, across the world”, he wrote.
He explained, “For fellow wanderers, and utter idiots looking to belong. If that’s you, my story is yours. You’re an Outsider too.”
Delhi Belly star unveiled that he wrote this book over the span of two years, and it is the toughest thing he has ever done.
"I threw every single piece of my heart into it. It’s my first book, took two years, and is the toughest thing I’ve EVER done. It hits shelves soon and the pre-order link is on my profile. I hope you like it and will support and share it.”
The memoir will take readers deep into the many phases of Das’ life stressing that the comedy world is not the only place where he felt like an outsider.
