Legendary Rockstar hints at Taylor Swift collaboration
Taylor Swift to collab with a rock legend next?
Taylor Swift, who has been hinting at new music for a while, might work with a legendary rock musician for her new album.
The 35-year-old received lots of praise from Carlos Santana who revealed that he is a big fan of the pop superstar.
Sontana, 77, gushed about the Anti-Hero hitmaker in an interview on TalkShopLive, where he shared the wish to work with Swift.
“I want to do No Woman, No Cry, (by Bob Marley and the Wailers), Just Like a Woman (by) Bob Dylan and Natural Woman, a Carole King song,” Santana said.
Dishing on his plans for a collaborative album with the Grammy winner, he said, “I wanna do an album with Taylor Swift that validates, celebrates the female side of God.”
Santana added, “I think that for many many centuries, women have gotten a bum rap from the male guys because how they portray her in the Bible. To me it’s like no, no, no, I’ve got to get together with my sister and take the female queen goddess to a whole other level of deep appreciation and validation.”
This comes after Swift dropped hints for her new album. While fans have been waiting for her Reputation, and Taylor Swift (debut) album re-recordings, the popstar reportedly has another alum in the works.
Santana did not reveal any more details about his plans with Swift, but there's no denying that a potential collaboration between these two superstars would be huge.
