The fate of the next James Bond film has been in the air ever since its original producers stepped away from the franchise.
Back in February, the longtime creators Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli handed over the creative control of the popular spy universe to Amazon MGM.
The news came out a surprise to the fans, who got worried and feared that the authenticity of the films might be compromised now. The news came after OG Daniel Craig also stepped down from the role of '007'.
Since then, fans were curious to know the fate of the franchise. But the next Bond film has finally got a promising update.
Production of Bond 26 has been kickstarted after finalization of a budget that cost around the same as of Craig’s last film No Time to Die.
Besides this, sources have also unveiled the release date of the upcoming flick.
As per The Sun, the fresh 007 movie will hopefully land in theatres somewhere in the end of 2027.
The source reported, “The Bond bosses had already proposed broad plots and reboot ideas.”
“The writers’ rooms are being assembled in the hope of recouping their investment ASAP”, claimed reports.
Meanwhile, the hunt for Daniel’s replacement is still under process. The names circulating on the internet for the next James Bond include actors Harris Dickinson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and James Norton.
