Meghan Markle is facing fresh backlash after sending a handwritten letter featuring her royal monogram to an influencer who criticised her new cookery series, 'With Love, Meghan.'
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams called the move 'hypocritical', accusing the Duchess of Sussex of continuing to lean on her royal ties while simultaneously distancing herself from the monarchy.
Speaking to Express, Fitzwilliams said: 'Meghan's letter which attempts to show off her skills at calligraphy, involves her drawing her monogram in a letter to an influencer who has been critical of her cookery series 'With Love, Meghan.'
For the unversed, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship has remained strained since their 2020 exit from official duties.
Due to these circumstances, the critics find Meghan's action 'superficial' as she continues to benefit form their royal status.
