SZA reveals Taylor Swift’s reaction to future collaboration
Taylor Swift and SZA have talked about making music together
Taylor Swift would be an ideal collaborator for SZA and in fact, she teased a potential collab as well.
The songstress gushed about fangirling over the pop superstar when they interacted at the 2025 Grammys. “Every time she walks up to me or approaches me, I’m just like, ‘All right, this is happening, because that’s fully Taylor Swift.”
The Saturn hitmaker teased the future collaboration during her interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, on Friday, March 21st.
“I think I mentioned that I would love to write with her and build some things together. I love her storytelling. She was open to it. I think she’s awesome. She’s so bossed up,” SZA added.
The Kill Bill songstress went on to praise other musicians who she loves for their storytelling, including Gracie Abrams, Lola Young, Doechii, Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan.
SZA has fangirled over the Anti-Hero hitmaker previously as well. In 2023, when her album SOS and Swift’s Midnights were up against each other for the No.1 spot in Billboard 200 list, she stated that she had no hard feelings for the popstar.
“I don’t have beef w ANYONE especially not Taylor lmao I genuinely loved her album and the writing!,” SZA wrote.
The R&B singer is currently gearing up for her joint tour with Kendrick Lamar, which starts off on April 19th at Minneapolis.
