Taylor Swift isn’t sweating the possibility of being dragged into Justin Baldoni’s legal battle with her close friend Blake Lively.
A source tells Page Six that the Grammy-winning superstar “is a strong woman and she’s not hiding from anything.”
While Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, hinted that Swift might be deposed as part of the case, she’s not exactly losing sleep over it.
“Taylor is simply enjoying some alone time with Travis [Kelce] and being under the radar for a little bit,” the insider added.
Three weeks after Baldoni named Swift in his countersuit against Lively, Freedman explained that her potential testimony could “provide evidence” in the case, which is set to go to trial in March 2026.
“I don’t know that we’re going to depose Taylor Swift. I think that that’s going to be probably a game-time decision. I don’t know that that decision has been made,” Freedman previously stated.
“But, I can tell you this, anyone that reasonably has information that can provide evidence in this case is going to be deposed.”
Meanwhile, there’s been speculation that Swift isn’t thrilled about being dragged into the drama.
According to Page Six, she “can’t help but feel used” by Lively after text messages allegedly surfaced in Baldoni’s lawsuit referring to Swift as one of Lively’s “dragons.”
While the texts don’t explicitly name Swift, many believe Lively was referring to both her and husband Ryan Reynolds when she allegedly called them “absolute titans” and her “creative barometers.”
Baldoni claims that during a meeting at Lively’s New York City penthouse, she referenced Swift and Reynolds as powerful figures who support her in battles.
For now, Swift seems unbothered and focused on enjoying her downtime. Whether or not she actually gets called into the courtroom? That’s a decision still up in the air.
