Suicide Squad famed Margot Robbie is expected to star in a big film next.
The Australian actress was last seen in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie in 2023, which turned out to be the highest grossing film of the year.
For her next project, the 34-year-old might be featuring in a biopic film of a late actress and model, who died on February 8, 2007.
The friends, Fashion Designer Pol’ Atteu and TV Producer Patrik Simpson have decided to make a movie based on Anna Nicole Smith’s life and Robbie is their first choice for the role.
Simpson has even prepared a script for the movie.
In an interview, he opened, "We are eyeing Margot and I think she is our Anna Nicole.”
Producer also revealed that ever since they all saw Barbie; they knew since then that the Focus actress is a seamless choice.
“After we saw the 'Barbie' movie, Margot was at the screening and I said: ‘That’s our Anna”, Patrick told The Sun.
He went on to say, "The way she embodied Barbie, and Pol used to always tease that Anna was the living, Barbie. So, who better to play her than Margot?"
Smith rose to fame as a model before turning into an actor. She struggled with the addiction of drugs and even died of an accidental overdose at the 39.
