Amanda Seyfried talks wild ‘Mamma Mia!’ wrap party nearly 20 years ago
Amanda Seyfried gets candid about why she steers clear of wrap parties now
Amanda Seyfried recalled the wild 2007 Mamma Mia! warp party after photos of the cast were leaked.
"That was 18 years ago, I can't even do the math," she told to the People magazine.
Reflecting on the defining moment of the revelry, the Mean Girls star said, "But that wrap party specifically, I was drunk. Everybody was."
The party was a family affair as well, with her grandmother joining the celebration and getting drunk.
"My grandmother was at that wrap party and she was slightly drunk," she adding. "She and my mom were there visiting. They always came everywhere I went and she lived until she was 99."
The Letter to Juliet actress shared that the parties weren't just for the actors but they used to be for everyone, including the crew members.
Despite of having a couple of hilarious moments from the parties, Seyfried admitted that such get-togethers are way behind her.
"Wrap parties are places that I don’t go," she explains. "I do not venture into the darkness of a wrap party so often."
Now focused on her career, Seyfried is busy filming her upcoming Peacock thriller series Long Bright River which slated for release on March 13th.
It follows the story of a Philadelphia police officer searches for her sister, an addict who has gone missing.
