The longtime friends and Pakistani actors, Kubra Khan and Gohar Rasheed, have sealed their love with Nikah in a blessed ceremony in Makkah.
The couple announced their Nikah, which was solemnised on February 12, in their latest Instagram post containing pictures taken in front of the Holy Kaaba at the Grand Mosque after performing Umrah.
"Under the Kursi of Allah... 70 thousand angels as witnesses and Rehmat pouring down on us like rain... Qubool hai [I do]," the couple wrote in the caption.
One of the two pictures they shared showed their hands placed on the Holy Kaaba, while the other captured them gazing at each other with love and the majestic Kaaba in the background.
Speculation about their Nikah in the holy city had been circulating ever since they made their relationship official.
The acting duo, who became the most-talked about celebrities lately, had put an end to weeks of speculation surrounding their relationship after the rumours of their upcoming wedding went rife late in 2024.
They made it official just last month with a playful yet heartfelt way, and now the revels have finally begun. The fan-favourite bride and groom-to-be celebrated their union surrounded by some of their closest friends at Momal's residence earlier this month.
The Raaz-e-Ulfat actor shared the pictures from the colourful "dholak" on his official Instagram account.
It may be noted that the speculations about the couple started circulating when Gohar actor revealed at colleague and friend Ushna Shah's show that he was "not single".
Later, the duo announced their union, sharing the exciting news in a lighthearted Instagram video that took the social media by storm.
Kubra and Gohar’s connection has always been evident, whether through their shared photos or their warm friendship, which fans had noticed and admired for a long time.
The two have worked in a number of projects together as well, but were appeared as a couple in just one drama serial, Jannat se Aagay.
While some had speculated about the nature of their relationship, many had been rooting for the talented duo to turn their close friendship into a lifelong partnership.
