Channing Tatum is showing his support for Ryan Reynolds, calling him a “good person” while reflecting on their recent trip to Wrexham.
“Caffeine and dancing aside, that trip to Wrexham was something I’ll never forget,” the Step Up alum, 44, wrote on Instagram on February 9.
Tatum praised Reynolds, 48, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Rob McElhenney for their impact on the Welsh town, adding, “What Ryan and Rob have done for the community in Wrexham is magic.”
The Magic Mike star shared photos from the trip, where he explored the city and visited Wrexham AFC’s stadium, a club Reynolds and McElhenney purchased in 2021. He described the town’s “ride or die loyalty” to its team as something that made him “want to stay forever.”
But it was Reynolds who earned a special shoutout from Tatum. “Incredible work, Ryan and Rob,” he wrote. “Good people build good things.”
His praise comes as Reynolds finds himself at the center of a legal battle between his wife, Blake Lively, and Justin Baldoni, who are suing each other over claims of harassment and defamation.
