Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce was reportedly devastated after fans mocked his girlfriend Taylor Swift at 2025 Super Bowl LIX, who was there to cheer her lover.

According to close insiders, the tight end was deeply hurt by the reaction, as he knows how much Taylor supports him.

Super Bowl was tough night for Kelce and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, who lost to the Philadelphia Eagles. To make things even worse, his girlfriend Swift was met with boos when she appeared on the big screen.

An insider revealed to DailyMail that the NFL player was unhappy by the public’s reaction and felt "helpless" while watching the scene, it further added that: "He always protects her, and it broke his heart. Seeing the look on her face got to him."

Fans of opposite team have viewed Swift as a "traitor", since she grew up in Pennsylvania and even once cheered for Eagles.

To add more fuel to the fire, Donald Trump took a jab at Swift, saying that she had "tougher night than the Chiefs."

However, after facing a sore defeat at 2025 Super Bowl, sources further revealed that Travis Kelce is focusing on his relationship with Taylor Swift, saying, "Having her love gives him so much joy."
