Kendrick Lamar hits back at Drake with Super Bowl performancea
Kendrick Lamar played Not Like Us at 2025 Super Bowl half time show
Kendrick Lamar and Drake have been at odds for many years now, but their rivalry just took a very dramatic turn on the biggest stage of 2025 Super Bowl.
While fans tuned in for the game, Lamar had something else in mind, sending a message loud and clear.
Things got worse between the two rappers, and now it’s reached a breaking point. Drake has reportedly filed a defamation lawsuit over Kendrick Lamar’s 2024 hit Not Like Us, where Lamar didn’t hold back.
In that song, he even takes a shot at Drake’s 2021 album, rapping: “Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophile.”
And now, seemingly their heated conflict has only gotten more heated over the years.
Lamar hit the stage for the Super Bowl halftime show last night on February 9, treating fans to some of his biggest hits along with an unexpected appearance from Serena Williams.
During the performance, the rapper played Not Like Us, the very song that sparked lawsuit. But fans quickly noticed he toned it down, leaving out some of the more controversial lines including the word pedophile.
At first, there was mutual respect between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, but things soon took a heated turn, and over the years, they’ve traded disses in songs, each making it clear that they are not on the best terms anymore.
