Joseph Quinn shared insight on wearing his Fantastic Four: First Steps costume for the first time.
The Stranger Things actor spoke at MegaCon Orlando in Florida about his role as Johnny Storm/Human Torch and about what fans can except from the movie.
When asked about his first thought was when he first put Johnny's superhero costume on, Quinn quipped, "I’ve got to do some sit-ups!"
The Gladiators II star further shared that he had "been training a lot" for the role, which made it "reassuring" to wear the suit as did "seeing everyone else" in the cast "in their Lycra."
Expressing his excitement about joining MCU he said that he was "shocked" and happy to be part of something "that brings so much joy" to so many people.
Previously while speaking to People Magazine, he said that he hadn’t spoken with Chris Evans or Michael B. Jordan, who have played Johnny Storm on the big screen in previous versions.
"They're both brilliant actors and did the amazing job with their interpretation of Johnny," Quinn said at the time. "So I think it's a question of trying to find something well, not different. It's going to come from me, I guess."
"I've definitely been inspired by their portrayals, so we'll see how it goes,” he added.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is slated for release on July 25, 2025.
