Princess Beatrice welcomes second child with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Palace confirms
Princess Eugenie reacted to the arrival of her sister Princess Beatrice’s daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi, with a heartfelt message.
The Princess of York reshared a post made by the royal family on Instagram to announce the birth of Beatrice’s baby girl.
Eugenie shared a sticker which reads, "Welcome Baby Girl," and a pink bow for the York family's bundle of joy.
Buckingham Palace broke the happy news on social media with an adorable photo of the little girl.
King Charles' office released a statement which reads, "Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi, born on Wednesday, 22nd January, at 12:57 pm."
"The baby was born weighing 4 pounds and 5 ounces."
The Palace's spokesperson revealed that the King, Queen Camilla and members of the royal family are "delighted with the news."
While sharing Princess Beatrice’s health, the royal family shared, "Her Royal Highness and her daughter are healthy and doing well, and the family are enjoying spending time together with Athena’s older siblings, Wolfie and Sienna."
