Saif Ali Khan, early on Thursday morning, was hurt when a knife-wielding intruder attacked him at his home in the posh Bandra neighbourhood.
Khan's crew released an official statement claiming that the actor was injured during an "attempted burglary."
Following surgery at Lilavati Hospital, Saif Ali Khan’s team has issued an official statement, reassuring his fans and the public about his condition: "Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery, and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe, and the police is investigating the incident. The actor showed remarkable fortitude in the face of dire circumstances by managing to notify his employees, who immediately contacted law enforcement and medical emergency services.
Meanwhile, the actor's family has supported him, especially his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan. Although they are upset, the family is relieved that Saif is doing better.
Updates on the actor's recuperation are anticipated in the days ahead, as his status is now stable.
