A Big Bang Theory spinoff is in talks, but Mayim Bialik has yet to be approached to reprise her role as Amy Farrah Fowler.
Speaking with Us Weekly, the 49-year-old actress shared that she hasn’t heard from anyone regarding the spinoff.
"I’ve seen what’s been announced and I think that’s where a lot of people’s knowledge of it is right now," she stated.
The Call Me Kat star expressed her excitement about the possibility of a revival of the show and acknowledged the lasting impact of the characters on the actors as well as the fans, saying, "These characters were so iconic and so significant to people."
"Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady really created a world of characters that people want to know about and follow up on. I would be very flattered if I am contacted."
Mayim would accept the opportunity to reprise her iconic character in a heartbeat, if offered.
"I love being known as that character and I love what it means to people," she told the publication.
"It would be a thrill to be part of it in any way," she added.
