Kyle Richards falls into darkness after splitting from Mauricio Umansky

Kyle Richards, well-known television personality and actress, has opened up about the emotional toll she's faced after her painful split from ex-husband Mauricio Umansky, the real estate broker.

The reality star and her husband shocked their fans and the industry when they announced their separation. And now, Kyle is opening up about how hard it’s been for her, saying that she "was so depressed."

The 56-year-old actress, famous for her role in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, recently confessed that she almost walked away from the show.

She opened up to The Hollywood Reporter: "I just didn’t have it in me anymore. I was at a point where I was so depressed, frankly."

"I’m not someone who gets depressed. I’ve had anxiety my entire life but never depression. I really felt like I was struggling with depression and I expressed that. And I just felt like I could not go into scenarios all the time and just have everyone coming at me," the actress added.

Kyle and her former partner Mauricio, who share three kids, decided to part ways back in 2023 after nearly 20 years of marriage.

The estate broker recently moved out, but just before Christmas, Kyle Richards hinted that they might come together again in the next few months to talk things through and see what will happen next.
