Lily Allen takes drastic measure for healing after David Harbour split
Lily Allen feels David Harbour is a trigger for her, says source
Lily Allen has recently taken drastic measure to heal herself after the collapse of her marriage with David Harbour.
A source spilled to MailOnline.com that Lily checked into a trauma clinic in the United States following her split with husband David after finding out he was using the celebrity dating app Raya.
“It was very painful for Lily to return home. David used to be her saviour and now he’s a trigger for her,” said an insider.
The source stated, “Lily settled her kids back into the family home and took them to school for their new term, then flew herself straight to rehab.”
“She went a day earlier than intended as she felt wobbly and desperate to escape,” shared an insider.
It is pertinent to mention that Lily decided to check into £8,000 a week treatment centre for over a month.
“She will spend several weeks at the residential retreat in the US where she is expected to take part in intensive group counselling sessions and one-on-one therapy in which she will be urged to ‘unpack’ her emotions,” explained an insider.
The source further said, “She wants to make sure she’s feeling physically well again so she can be there for her daughters as the best mother she can be.”
“Everyone thinks David is the steady one and Lily is the crazy head-case. But the reality is that Lily was calmer and more grounded than she’s ever been – until she discovered that her marriage was unexpectedly over,” mentioned an insider.
The source remarked, “She is taking the responsible course of action with a trip to a retreat to get her head straight.”
