Jude Law, American actor who is known for his versatility and playing critical roles, has recently officially confirmed his next big challenge of his career.
The 52-year-old star is all set to play Russian President Vladimir Putin in an upcoming movie The Wizard of the Kremlin, revealing that stepping into Putin's shoes has been one of the most demanding roles of his acting life.
During his recent interview with Deadline, Jude admitted his excitement about playing such a tough and high-profile character of the President.
He shared: "How am I going to do this?"
The movie, which was directed by French filmmaker Olivier Assayas, is set to feature the Eden star in a supporting role as the head of the state.
According to the interview, the film will dramatically focus on Putin’s early days as a powerful leader, offering glimpse into start of his political journey.
As per Variety, the upcoming hit will also star Alicia Vikander, Paul Dano and Zach Galifianakis, as it's based on Giuliano da Empoli's 2023 bestselling book of the same name.
However, the movie is already sparking buzz online, and with Law at the helm, it’s almost shaping up to be must-watch movie for the audience.
