Meghan Markle, who left fans in tears with first emotional post of 2025 on her newly launched Instagram account to mourn the death of the beloved family member, used poignant words which seemingly hold a special message for her husband Prince Harry.
The Duchess appears lost following the death of her rescue dog, she adopted in 2015. In her heartfelt tribute, she thanked the dog for “so many years of unconditional love.”
Meghan's choice of words appears to be a subtle jab at her husband, Prince Harry, implying that some of his decisions have caused her trouble.
The Duke, who's all set to take a solo flight to the UK next month, must be taking notes from the Duchess's meaningful message.
In the telling video, shared on Meghan's newly launched Instagram on Wednesday, Harry is seen running along a beach with the canine. In the final clip, the Duchess can be heard with the couple’s children singing: “We love you Guy, yes we do.”
Explaining the reason to call her pet guy, she said: “So I named him ‘Guy’. And he was the best guy any girl could have asked for."
She continued: "He was with me at Suits, when I got engaged, (and then married), when I became a mom….He was with me for everything: the quiet, the chaos, the calm, the comfort.”
She continued: “I am so devastated by his loss. I think you may fall a little bit in love too. I have cried too many tears to count.
She concluded: “Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my sweet Guy"
