Arjun Kapoor remembers 'emotional' moment with Sridevi

Arjun Kapoor shares memories with Sridevi and Anil Kapoor on the set of his father Boney Kapoor's film Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja.

The Ki and Ka actor, who considered Sridevi his stepmother, reminisced about spending time with Bollywood legends, including her and Jackie Shroff among others.

During an exclusive interview with Galatta India, the 39-year-old actor detailed his experience on the film’s set, referring to it as one of the most expensive films ever made on a budget of Rs. 10 crore in 1992.

Describing the star-studded cast of the film, he recalled, “Roop Ki Rani… was larger than life. It had eight songs, there was a train robbery. His name was Romeo in the film. I was infatuated by cinema from that age when I used to go to that set. And that’s also where I spent time with my father.”

For the unversed, Boney tied the knot with the Mom actress in 1996 when Arjun was 10 years old.

In a recent chat with ABP Live, Boney offered an insight into the first time he proposed to Sridevi.

He said, “It took me four-five-six years to convince her. When I proposed to her, she didn’t speak to me for six months. She said, ‘You’re married with two kids, how can you talk to me like this?’ But I said what was in my heart, and fortune favoured me.”
