Gypsy-Rose Blanchard embarked on a major milestone as she welcomes motherhood.
The 33-year-old has finally welcomed a baby girl, who’s named Aurora Raina Urker, with her boyfriend Ken Urker.
Ken posted a photo of the new mother cradling her newborn baby on Instagram, captioning it, "Welcoming 2025 with the greatest gift of all."
In the Photo, Gypsy is seen resting in a hospital bed, with her boyfriend lovingly cradling their baby, who is wearing a pink hat, with her.
In conversation with People in December 2024, she explained that she can’t take sole credit for her daughter’s unique name.
"Ken came up with that," she revealed, "There's a whole backstory to it."
According to the new mother, some people assumed her daughter’s name was inspired by the Disney princess from Sleeping Beauty.
She further explained that many also believed the name was derived from her step-mother Krity’s dog, Aurora Grace.
However, she shared that the name was inspired by something totally different.
"Back whenever Ken and I were together seven years ago, both of us had a fascination with the Northern Lights, and the proper term is the Aurora Borealis," she revealed.
"I think it was maybe in 2018, we wrote each other's future kid's name on pieces of paper and Aurora is what we both picked without even knowing who was picking what" she recalled.
