Amid Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce settlement, Jennifer Aniston's old statement about the duo’s romance has been making rounds on the internet.
Jennifer, who was married to Brad, parted ways with husband after he allegedly fell in love with Angelina.
Soon after divorce with the Friends star, the Bullet Train actor tied the knot with his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star in 2014 after dating her since 2005.
The Oscar winning actress filed for a divorce with Pitt in 2016. Since then, the two of them couldn’t reach to a deal. Finally, they have reached a divorce settlement.
During this whole drama, Aniston's old comment about Jolie and Pitt’s relationship has resurfaced.
The Murder Mystery actress in 2005 told Vanity Fair about her first encounter with the Maleficent star.
"I pulled over and introduced myself. I said, 'Brad is so excited about working with you. I hope you guys have a really good time”, she reminisced.
However, the 55-year-old actress also revealed what she felt after seeing the images of her partner and the 49-year-old humanitarian together for the first time.
"The world was shocked, and I was shocked.”
Jennifer told the publication: "I can't say it was one of the highlights of my year. Who would deal with that and say, 'Isn't that sweet!”
“That looks like fun!?' But s*** happens. You joke and say, 'What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.”
However, she also admitted that she ‘chose to believe’ that her marriage with Brad did not end because of another woman.
