Rachel Zegler finally addresses romance rumours with co-star Kit Connor

Rachel Zegler has finally shut down claims stating she was "obsessed" with her Romeo + Juliet co-star, Kit Connor.

In the comments of her December 29 Instagram post, which featured two photos of her co-star, the 23-year-old denied the accusations of being romantically interested in the 20-year-old actor. 

After seeing the fun behind-the-scenes carousel photos, fans started speculating about Rachel and Kit’s relationship status.

"I think Rachel is so obsessed with Kit Connor in a romantic way, not just a friend way," one fan wrote in the comments of the post. 

The Snow White star quickly responded to the comment, taking the situation head-on and setting the record straight once and for all, replying, "No! Moving on."

Many admirers of the actress rushed in support of her, saying, "I’m so tired of people saying you both like each other romantically, you guys just have a really good friendship!"

"You sticking up for yourself always is why you’re a dream. I’m obsessed with you." another wrote. 

Among the many behind-the-scenes shots that the West Side Story actress shared from the Broadway production, one included a mirror selfie taken by the Heartstopper actor, as she posed behind him. 

In another image, the English actor showed off his strength as he held on to the Golden Globe Award winning actress on his shoulders as she grinned, flashing a thumbs up to the camera. 

She captioned the montage of pictures, "Moments of joy and dreams coming true."
