Mauricio Umansky, who is the estranged husband of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, has faced mounting legal pressure regarding a $3.5 million PPP loan mismanagement controversy.
As per the reports, the real estate company Relator LLC has filed a lawsuit, accusing Umansky and his company, The Agency, of misleading as they acquired millions in the name of pandemic relief loans.
The Relator LLC has claimed that the funds were misused and criticized Umansky, who's net worth is $100 million, for downplaying the seriousness of the situation.
The company's attorney asserted that the case must move forward to ensure justice is served, despite Emma Slater's rumoured boyfriend Umansky's attempt to dismiss the lawsuit on procedural grounds.
The lawyer for Relator LLC emphasized that the issue isn’t the facts of the case, but the defendants’ attempts to deflect responsibility by questioning the company's knowledge of the alleged fraud.
The LLC remarked that Kyle Richards' former partner Mauricio Umansky and The Agency didn't need the loan, stating the impressive financial performance of their businesses, which recorded $6 billion in sales in 2020 and $6.5 billion in 2021.
