Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the two powerful stars, have finally closed the chapter of their divorce battle after eight long years.
From the time they met on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith to their split, the former couple experienced love, faced scandals and raised six children together as Brangelina for 12 years.
However, Angelina and Brad finally reached a divorce settlement last month, ending one of Hollywood's controversial divorces in history.
Here’s a look at the significant moments in their rollercoaster relationship:

It is pertinent to mention that the Troy star was married to Jennifer Aniston at the time.
They both denied the relationship initially but later the pair admitted they “fell in love” with each other.

Interestingly, Brad and Angelina confirmed they were expecting their first baby together three months after Jennifer’s divorce was finalised.
Zahara and another adopted baby Maddox’s last names were changed to Jolie-Pitt, per courts’ order.
Shiloh, the couple’s biological daughter, was born in May 2006 in Namibia hospital as they also adopted Pax from Vietnam in March 2007.
In 2006, the former couple made it red-carpet-official when they stepped out together at the NYC premiere of Angelina’s The Good Shepherd movie.

The Tomb Raider actress wrote a New York Times op-ed in which she revealed she underwent a preventive double mastectomy.
"We knew this was the right thing to do for our family and that it would bring us closer. And it has,” she said in her write-up.
Brad and Angelina secretly married at their Chateau Miraval in France in 2014 and all their six children attended the event.
Angelina and Brad worked together on their first movie together after their marriage, titled By the Sea, which was directed by the actress and released in November 2014.
Two years later, Angelina filed for divorce in 2016. The announcement was the beginning of their long and contentious legal battle over children's custody and finances.
The reason Angelina shared in her divorce suit was “irreconcilable differences”.
The actress also alleged that Brad physically abused one of his children in her filing.
She further claimed that the actor was “drinking heavily” during a family flight on the couple’s private jet in September 2016.
However, the FBI and Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) closed an investigation into allegations of physical abuse involving Brad and his children in November 2016.
It was in 2019 that the couple reportedly declared legally single, although the court ordered at the time that they had to settle their custody and financial disputes separately.
In February 2022, Brad reportedly sued Angelina for selling her stake in their $28 million joint French winery venture.
The lawsuit shared that both parties could not sell their stake in the Château without the other's consent.
The former couple had reached divorce settlement after eight years of lengthy battle.
In a statement shared via Business Insider, Angelina’s lawyer mentioned, “More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Brad. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with the actor, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family.”
“Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over,” added the lawyer.
It is important to note that details of the settlement have not been revealed as of yet.
