Alabama Barker, daughter of Travis Barker cleared the air over rumours of hospitalization due to abrupt nicotine withdrawal.
The 19-year-old daughter of Blink-182 drummer, has clarified reports regarding her hospitalization for nicotine withdrawal.
In a now-deleted Instagram Story post on Tuesday, Alabama addressed the situation, denying recent hospitalization claims. “I just want to clarify that I was not in the hospital this month or last,” the aspiring rapper shared.
She explained that the incident occurred “some time ago” and emphasized it was a brief stay.
“I was there for about three hours before being discharged. They provided me with a nicotine patch and an inhaler, and that’s all,” she wrote.
The teen further urged people to avoid spreading misinformation, stating, “Let’s please avoid spreading any rumors and focus on moving forward. Thank you.”
The clarification comes after TMZ reported Monday that Alabama had recently been hospitalized for nicotine withdrawal after quitting vaping cold turkey. According to the outlet, she reportedly experienced feelings of panic and discomfort, prompting her to call for medical assistance.
Sources indicated that Alabama stopped vaping on the advice of music industry professionals, who encouraged her to prioritize her vocal health for her budding rap career.
