Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ old friend Paul Hollywood is reflecting on his friendship with the power couple following their Betty Booze collaboration.
The Great British Baking Show host opened up to The Times in an exclusive interview on Monday, December 30, offering an inside glimpse into his relationship with Lively after starring in a 2023 commercial for her canned cocktail brand.
The 58-year-old told the outlet, “I’ve got a lot of time for Blake. She texts occasionally, sort of to catch up on what she’s been up to, what Ryan’s up to.
Referencing their four children; James, Inez, Betty, and son Olin, he further went on to add, "It’s lovely, because regardless of their job, they’re just a normal family, mom and dad to some great kids.”
The host explained his friendship dynamics with most celebrities, except for Blake and her husband, whom he considers to be "really nice people."
As per The Times, the celebrity baker continued, "They’re really nice people. I like that communication. I don’t have many friends who are celebrities, it’s not me. I don’t go to a lot of red-carpet stuff. I don’t go to the parties up in London. I don’t like London.”
Hollywood has previously shared photos with the couple on multiple occasions, including from the popular Baking Show tent.
