Jennifer Lopez snubs Ben Affleck in 2024 recap video: 'It's gonna get better'
Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck this year on their 2nd wedding anniversary
Jennifer Lopez has a lot to look back on in 2024, but her failed marriage with Ben Affleck isn’t one of them.
The pop star closed out 2024 with a reflective recap video shared to her Instagram on December 30. The montage, set to an orchestral version of her hit Waiting for Tonight, celebrated her career milestones and personal triumphs.
But, notably, Affleck — whom Lopez filed for divorce from in August 2024 on their two-year-anniversary — was left out of the picture.
The post, simply captioned “2024,” highlighted a whirlwind year for Lopez, 55, including the premiere of Atlas, her This Is Me… Now documentary, and co-chairing the Met Gala.
It also featured sweet moments with her 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme — whom she shares with her ex husband Marc Anthony — and scenes from her lavish Bridgerton-themed birthday party.
In the video, JLo acknowledged facing challenges over the past year. “In my low moments, I’ve learned to just feel the feelings and then let them go,” she reflected.
Despite the struggles, she expressed optimism: “What a journey this has been. I honestly feel that the best is yet to come.”
Lopez’s divorce filing came on the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding, which followed a Las Vegas elopement in 2022. Although the pair ended their marriage, multiple sources indicate they remain amicable as they continue to co-parent and navigate their blended families.
The video closed with a hopeful message to fans: “See you in 2025!”
