Princess Kate made a poignant jewellery choice that resonated far beyond royal fashion. 

Renowned jewellery expert Tobias Kormind, Managing Director of 77 Diamonds, told GB News that the Princess of Wales’s most significant jewellery moment of 2024 was her decision to don a striking sapphire-and-diamond eternity band.

The elegant piece, first glimpsed in a Team GB video released in August, captured widespread attention for its symbolic weight. 

However, it was during Kate’s heartfelt announcement of completing chemotherapy that the ring truly became emblematic of her journey.

Described as an infinity band, the jewellery choice carried profound meaning, reflecting themes of endurance, love, and the enduring bond she shares with her family during trying times. 

Tobias told GB News that the striking new piece symbolized "hope for new beginnings" amid Kate’s recovery from cancer. 

The band’s design, a thoughtful echo of her famous engagement ring once belonging to Princess Diana.

"It’s a nod to her sapphire engagement ring, symbolizing continuity and the strength of the past, while the eternity band speaks to new beginnings during a deeply personal journey," explained Kormind.
