Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are seemingly having a hard time recovering from their slump as Hollywood gives its final verdict on the pair.

The couple, who released their latest docuseries, Polo, as part of their multi-million-dollar Netflix deal, received terrible news about what the next year holds for their lucrative opportunities.

The Duke and Duchess were already under a mounting pressure to save their lucrative contracts but after Polo started getting awful reviews, Hollywood bigwigs are stepping up to take action as “other great shows are falling by the wayside,” an insider revealed.

“There’s not a lot of sympathy for them,” a source told InTouch Magazine. The insider lamented that folks like Harry and Meghan are stealing opportunities from people who deserve it.

They added that “even among the professionals in the T.V. business, they see their mostly pointless Netflix shows as taking opportunities away from creators and talent who are T.V. professionals with legitimately strong ideas.”

The insider stressed that the flop of their latest series on the streaming giant “puts them in a dangerous spot, because they still have yet to deliver a rock-solid hit for Netflix that wins over their critics.”

Netflix will reportedly review the deal with Harry and Meghan this year and how much “unlimited capital” it is willing to doll out for the couple.

“We’ll see next year how many more chances they really get, but the critics have spoken and nobody is impressed,” the source continued. “If they want to keep making television, they need to tackle a subject matter that’s relevant and they need to make the project actually entertaining.”

They concluded, “It’s a lot easier said than done, but if they can’t pull that off, it’s only going to marginalise them further from the Hollywood community.”
