According to TMZ, Alabama stopped vaping abruptly about a month ago, which triggered an anxiety attack severe enough for her to call 911. The aspiring rapper was taken to a Los Angeles hospital, where doctors informed her that the symptoms were linked to nicotine withdrawal.
The outlet reported that Alabama had not gradually reduced her use of vape pens, a common recommendation for quitting nicotine. Music industry professionals had encouraged her to give up the habit, as vaping is known to harm vocal cords.
Earlier this month, Alabama released her first music video for her single Vogue, which featured her stepmother, Kourtney Kardashian.
