American reporter Amy Robach and journalist TJ Holmes have poured their thoughts on getting engaged on Christmas day.
During the latest episode of TJ & Amy podcast, the couple discussed wether they would support or oppose the idea regarding engagement.
Moreover, They also shared their personal preferences and thoughts on the tradtion.
The 51-year-old made a shocking claim that she would never want to be proposed to during a holiday, asserting, “I learned that no one should ever congratulate the bride after a proposal or a wedding. You should congratulate the groom because he’s lucky to have her. But that may be old-fashioned.”
Holmes added that he always tells Robach he is "lucky to be with her every day," further confirming that a Christmas Day proposal is off the table.
“And no, there will not be, obviously, for anyone who is wondering — there won’t be a Christmas Day proposal,” the 47-year-old assured.
Moreover, the duo also conversed about their previous engagements. Robach, who has been married twice before, shared that her proposals came on “random days that had zero significance.”
For the unknown, Holmes has also been married twice previously, most recently to Marilee Fiebig, until 2023.
This isn't the first time that Amy Robach and TJ Holmes has discussed the subject of engagements. Robach expressed confidence about their future, referring to a potential engagement between her and Holmes.
