Princess Beatrice received huge honour during her Christmas walkabout with the royal family in Sandringham.
For the unversed, the Princess of York was reportedly meant to celebrate the festival with her in-laws amid her father Prince Andrew's spy scandal.
Later, Beatrice was advised by her doctors to avoid travelling as she is expecting her second child with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
Sarah Ferguson's daughter joined the royals during the church procession where she was positioned just behind Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Speaking of this special nod for the mother-to-be by King Charles, royal expert Robert Hardman told Daily Mail that this gesture reflected the prominence of Beatrice within the royal circle.
He shared, "Once again, the Dukes of York and Sussex were nowhere to be seen, though Prince Andrew will have been delighted to see the prominence given to his elder daughter, Princess Beatrice, yesterday at Sandringham."
"She and her husband were next in line to the Waleses on the way out of the church, a subtle reminder that she remains in the top 10 in the royal line of succession," Robert added.
It has been said that the monarch seemingly given a vital chance to Beatrice in order to save his father from further downfall.
It is important to mention that the Duke of York once again brought shame to the royal family with his invovlement with an alleged spy. Moreover, he has been also fueding with his cancer-stricken brother about the Royal Lodge.
