The beloved British series Bridgerton has thrilled fans by sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses from its season four table read.
On December 25th, the show's official account posted a carousel of photos capturing memorable moments with the cast during the event.
The post was captioned: “Rejoice for it is the season of joy and merriment!” with the first photo featuring season four leads, Luke Thompson as Benedict and Yerin Han as Sophie Baek.
Other key members of the Bridgerton family also marked their appearance, including Ruth Gemmell as Lady Violet, Hannah Dodd as Francesca, and Florence Hunt as Hyacinth.
The iconic drama, hailing from the Regency era, has also welcomed new faces, Katie Leung as Lady Araminta Gun and Isabella Wei as Posy Li.
The filming of the new chapter kicked off in September, 2024, at Shepperton Studios, where a newly constructed backlot provided the perfect backdrop to continue the enthralling shoot of the show.
According to the show’s synopsis, the two characters first cross paths at a masquerade ball hosted by Bridgerton matriarch Violet, where Sophie sneaks in disguised to attend, despite not typically being part of high society events.
Described as a resilient survivor of tragic circumstances, Sophie has spent much of her life working under one of the most demanding employers in the ton. However, her resourcefulness and determination allow her to endure and rise above her challenges.
The character's name in the series has been slightly altered from Sophie Beckett to Sophie Baek, as a tribute to the actress's Korean heritage.
On the work front, Bridgerton season four is all set to realease in 2026. However, the exact dates arent revealed yet.
