Aamir Khan has recently revealed his inferiority complex as an actor in a new interview.
In conversation with the veteran actor, Nana Patekar on Zee Music Company’s YouTube channel, Mr Perfectionist admitted that he didn't consider himself a perfect hero in the early days of his acting career.
Aamir said he is five inches and five feet in height, shorter than the average Bollywood hero which bothered him when he began his career as a male lead in films in the late 1980s.
The PK actor, "Yes, I did. I used to feel that what if people don’t accept me because of my height, this was my fear."
"But later, I realized that all of this does not matter at all. But at that time, some kind of insecurity creeps in," Aamir concluded.
As reported by Hindustan Times, this was not the first time the actor has opened up about his height complex but he had addressed his insecurities multiple times.
In 2012, while promoting his, thriller-mystery, film Talaash: The Answer Lies Within during a special screening of the movie, he said that people would call him 'tingu' [slang for short.]
On the work front, Aamir has begun shooting for his upcoming movie Sitaare Zameen Par.
