Blake Lively is determined to make Christmas a remarkable event for her family, amidst sexual harassment case against her co-star Justin Baldroni.
The American actress filed a lawsuit, alleging Baldoni of sexual misconduct on set, who created hostile work environment and launching a smear campaign to “destroy” her reputation.
"She's trying to just focus on making Christmas special for her kids," a source told People magazine.
Jamey Heath, the lead producer of It Ends with Us, also accused of participating in misconduct.
Recently more lawsuit claims against Baldoni surfaced.
According to the claims, The Gossip Girl star said that lack of precautions on set led both her and her 10-months old son contracting COVID.
She described the experience as 'deeply traumatic', stating in court documents that she “suffered from grief, fear, trauma and extreme anxiety," which profoundly affected her husband and four children.
In a statement to The New York Times, Lively said, "I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted."
As a result of Lively’s legal action against Baldoni, his career is said to be at stake.
Since the case was released on December 20th, Justin Baldoni has been dropped by his talent agency, and later on Monday his podcast The Man Enough's co-host Liz Plank announced her resignation.
