Taylor Swift has once again proven herself as the ultimate ‘queen of hearts’ after her opening act Gracie Abrams makes a heartfelt confession about the singer.
The 25-year-old singer, who opened for the Anti-hero hitmaker on the final Canadian leg of the tour on December 8, revealed that she struggled to hold back tears backstage because almost every other person in the crowd was overcome with emotion as they signed each other’s tour books.
During an exclusive interview with Nylon magazine, Gracie detailed her experience as she referred to it as the ‘last day of school,’ "Everyone had been crying all day. It felt like the last day of school backstage.
"Everyone was walking around with their ['The Eras Tour'] books, signing each other’s books. We were all walking around with Sharpies."
Meanwhile, dancer Kameron Saunders admitted to breaking down emotionally behind the scenes as he was one of the regulars on the highly-acclaimed tour.
Penning down his emotions after wrapping The Eras Tour, he wrote on Instagram, "I have not stopped crying since Sunday ... and because of that simple fact, I’m not quite ready with the proper words to encapsulate this entire experience and the past 2 years of my life so guys PLEASE be patient with me as I navigate how best to do that …
"BUT what I can and am ready to do is say thank you to my Boss Lady!"
For the unversed, the tour began on March 17, 2023 in Arizona, United States, and concluded on December 8, 2024 in Vancouver, Canada, lasting a total of 18 months.
