Angelina Jolie reveals her 'strange' activity post Brad Pitt split
Angelina Jolie opens up about her favourite post-split pastime
Angelina Jolie is reflecting on her pastimes as she admitted to spending much of her time “alone.”
The 49-year-old actress, who shares six kids with her ex-husband Brad Pitt, offered an insight into her pastimes following their tumultuous split.
During an exclusive interview with The Sun newspaper, the Maria actress shared her stance on getting roped into portraying the character of Maria Callas.
She explained that finding herself on her own has helped her connect with the character on a deeper level.
Angelina told the outlet, "I have my children I love but as an adult I’m often alone. I find myself identifying with the solitude and loneliness [Maria] has.
"I also haven’t quite figured out how to live life in a way where I’m on my own. Maybe a lot of artists feel that we’re in an open space as a person. We don’t quite settle. So it leaves us in a strange way sometimes."
The mom-of-six readily cites motherhood as her top priority, considering her parental responsibilities the most important tasks in her daily life.
Angelina and Brad Pitt parted their ways on September 20, 2016, following two years of their marriage.
Their divorce sparked a spree of legal battles, citing various instances against the actor.
