Ariana Grande recently shared an intriguing memory while signing her contract for the film, Wicked.
In a new interview with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, the singer-turned-actress discussed her collaboration with co-star Cynthia Erivo in the musical fantasy film.
Ariana further shared that she made sure while signing the film contract about her equal screen presence with the 37-year-old actress.
The Don't Look Up star stated, "We talk a lot about this pact that we made to take care of each other and to be really honest with each other about anything that was to come up."
"But I don’t think people really get how granular we got and how fully we mean that. When I got my contract, I called [Cynthia], and was like, Hey let’s go through this thing," she said.
For the unversed, Ariana and Cynthia last worked together on Wicked, alongside Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh, and Ethan Slater. The film was released on November 22, 2024.
Both actresses received nominations for the Golden Globe and Critics' Choice Awards.
Ariana is up for Best Actress, while Cynthia is nominated for Best Supporting Actress, recognising their exceptional performances in the film adaptation of Wicked.
