Adam Sandler made a surprise appearance at Saturday Night Live as his longtime friend Chris Rock hosted the show.
The 59-year-old actor and comedian hosted the show for the fourth time on December 14th where Sandler appeared as a surprise.
In one skit, Rock appeared as a doctor performing surgery on a patient, who accidentally gets their gallbladder removed instead of appendix due to a blunder made by another surgeon.
As the sketch progresses, the previously covered patient sits up, revealing to be Sandler.
He starts to speak with the medical staff and blood begins to shoot out of his body, splashing over the doctors and covering them up completely.
This SNL reunion comes after Sandler and Rock co-starred on the comedy show in the 1990s.
Since the start of their longtime friendship, the two comedy stars have costarred have appeared in multiple movies together, including 2005’s The Longest Yard, 2010’s Grown-Ups 2013's Grown-Ups 2 and 2018’s The Week Of.
This week’s SNL show featured Gracie Abrams as the musical guest who made her debut on the show, performing her hit track That's So True, and later, I Love You, I’m Sorry.
