Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield has raised serious concerns about Prince Andrew's increasing vulnerability amid the espionage scandal involving a suspected Chinese spy.
Speaking to GB News, Schofield described the situation as a "major headache for the King" and warned that the Duke of York is quickly becoming a "liability" not just to the monarchy, but also to the British government.
She stressed that Prince Andrew’s connection to the controversial figure, known only as H6, is raising alarms both in royal circles and within government circles.
In response to the allegations, representatives for the Duke have confirmed that he has now followed official advice, ceasing all contact with the individual after concerns were raised.
However, the damage to his reputation continues to grow, making his position increasingly precarious.
Schofield also touched on the difficult relationship between Prince Andrew and his brother, King Charles, who is said to have made a promise to their late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, to "look after" Andrew.
The commentator explained, "I think the King is an honourable man, and he has no intention of breaking that promise to the late Queen. But the King has been put in a very tough position after a challenging year."
