Ryan Reynolds has spoken about the possibility of a new sequel of Deadpool.
According to Ryan, it was an extremely emotional and depressing when they filmed the last shot of Deadpool & Wolverine.
"Seeing Shawn every day and Hugh in person or on the screen in the edit bay is one of the best times of my life and a memory palace in my mind that I visit every day”, added the Red Notice actor.
However, the 48-year-old star is focused on his next project, Boy Band, he still hopes that more appearances of the red superhero come along his way.
In conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, Reynolds stated that he does not ‘know what the future holds just yet.’
Meanwhile, he has ‘some pitches and ideas for a potential sequel, but none of them center on Deadpool.’
The Free Guy actor believes that ‘Wade Wilson would always want Deadpool and Wolverine to be paired in some way.’
But he himself thinks that bringing back the character back as a leading man with the same kind of story line feels like ‘iterative and redundant.’
2024 action-adventure starring Ryan and Hugh Jackman turned out to be a blockbuster in at the box office earning around $ 1.33 billion.
