James Kennedy's girlfriend, Ally Lewber, has spoken out regarding his recent arrest for misdemeanor domestic violence.
Taking to Instagram, the 28-year-old shared: “Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and for checking in on me.”
“I’m OK and taking the time I need right now. I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time,” she added
As per Us Weekly, police were called to the scene following a reported argument between Kennedy and Lewber, on December 10.
Responding officers witnessed that Kennedy allegedly grabbed the woman, but thay found no visible injuries. He was subsequently released on a $20,000 bond.
In regards to the incident, Kennedy’s attorneys released a statement which read, “We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations levied by the Burbank Police Department against James.”
“We understand that there were no injuries and we are hoping that, after careful review, the city’s attorneys will decide not to file formal charges.”
For the unknown, Ally Lewber previously refuted claims made by Bravo stars Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge, who alleged that they had seen Kennedy being physically abusive toward her.
